1. Thank you, Anita, for setting up the Mr. Harrison Quilt Guild blog spot. The Guild has been of much inspiration and fun for many guild members. Members meet every 4th Tuesday of the month, except in November, and in December when a date is chosen for a Christmas party. The members enjoy workshops, presentations, show and tell (bring in their finished quilts, etc), block of the month patterns, social time with refreshments, and much more. Any quilters and those interested in quilts and quilt making are invited to join. Meetings are held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rupert at 1:30 pm and annual membership fees are only $15. Come visit and join. Lori

  2. Mt. Harrison Quilt Guild members have been having fun. Each month, a member brings a raffle block pattern that members can make quilt blocks of for the following month's meeting. Raffle tickets are purchased by the members for 50 cents each, and a winning member's ticket is drawn at that meeting.

We have learned how to make Reversible Quilts, and Zoo for Two quilts (cut to make two baby quilts). They are quick, and easy to make, and cute.

Come and visit, and join in on the fun!

  3. Mt. Harrison Quilt Guild members are having a great time this year. We are having a raffle block each month, and doing a row by row quilt that the members can keep for their own personal use. One of our members provides a block pattern for one of the rows each month. We are also having a challenge block beginning in May, a workshop to learn how to do the Cathedral Windows May 26th, making donation quilts for the local Christmas Council helping needy families, and much more.

Membership is still only $15 per year. Come and join us. We meet the fourth Tuesday of each month, except in November, and in December when we select a special day for a Christmas party / meeting. Meetings are still held at Trinity Lutheran church in Rupert at 1:30 pm. Lori
