February Finish

Thanks to my Accuquilt Studio cutter and my 4.5" tumbler die I made quick work of this quilt. It took about 15 minutes to cut out 100 tumblers from a stack of 6" square I had in a drawer. Total time from start to finish was about 5 hours. Fun, fast and easy I'll be making more it is a good way to use up scraps.

Blackfoot QuiltFest

It is time for the third annual quilt show in Blackfoot. The link will take you to their website for all the information on dates, times, cost and classes.  http://blackfootquiltfest.com/
It's a nice show and not a bad drive if the weather is good.

Hello 2015

I don't know where the time goes. It seems like every time I turn around it is a new year.

This blog was created so that guild members from both quilt guilds could post their quilting creations and other news and the general public would be able to see what we are about in case they would like to visit. So I will start off this new year and show you some of what I managed to finish in 2014.

The log cabin quilt was a kit from Connecting Threads and the Hunter Star is a quilt that I made using my Accuquilt Go and the Hunter Star Die. The fabric are from a Connecting Threads Layer Cake.

Okay now it's your turn - what have you been up to with your quilting.

Welcome

In the middle of June 19 ladies from both guilds and a few guests met for an all day workshop to make a quilt from the Circle of Nine Book written by Janet Houts and Jean Ann Wright. There was alot of laughter and visiting as we watched each other's progress through out the day. We had so much fun that we will probably try to set up another workshop in the early fall if we have enough people interested. When I can figure out how to put things where I want them I'll get a slide show posted.
